Are you ready to learn how to edit your own projects? This course explores theoretical and technical approaches to editing. Students will learn the basic mechanics of Adobe Premiere Pro with take-home assignments each week (footage will be provided). Students will also learn editing techniques by reviewing practical application in films. At the end of the course, students will not only know how to make a cut, but why to make a cut. Students will complete a final project, that can later be used in editing reels. $299
Requirements: Students will need to bring the following items to class each week: 1) Laptop Computer with Adobe Premier Pro (installed) 2) "In the Blink of an Eye" - book by Walter Murch. Available on Amazon
